DJs use equipment that allows them to play multiple sources of recorded music and mix them to create smooth transitions and unique arrangements of songs. To determine the musical identity of DJs based on music data, the characteristics of each DJ's tracks were analyzed to measure if the scope of their musical identity was clear and distinctive.
